Swiss Haute Horlogerie manufacturer Audemars Piguet present the [RE]Master02 Selfwinding, an homage to an asymmetrical watch created in 1960 (Model 5159BA).

Following the release of the [RE]Master01 in 2020, this limited edition of 250 pieces sports and asymmetrical 41mm rectangular case in a 18-carat sand gold alloy, swaying between shades of white and pink gold. The watch is equipped with the Calibre 7129, for a cutting-edge performance associated with a vintage look. Invoking past in the present, Audemars Piguet delves into its archive to propose the most performant watches while keeping an exquisite aesthetic specific to the brand. Like remastering a song, it is always about improving what has been already while keeping the soul of the product alive to tell its own story. “Between 1959 and 1963, Audemars Piguet created more than 30 asymmetrical models, most of which were produced in less than 10 pieces. [RE]Master02 is a fantastic opportunity to revive this forgotten golden age.” Sebastian Vivas, Heritage and Museum Director, Audemars Piguet.
