The Estonian brand Racer Worldwide did their Paris Fashion Week debut on June 22nd, with their collection “Core Memory” featuring 37 unique looks. Mixing ready-to-wear pieces and handcrafted show-styles, the collection channels a raw and nostalgic vision on early 2000’s Eastern Europe, far from the romanticization of the Internet.

For his newest creation, creative director Mihhail Zigaldo partnered with Anna Himma and Tommy Cash, marking an important movement in the house’s development. Styling executed by Natacha Voranger created a particular atmosphere offering a poignant view on Eastern European daily life.

The collection presented studded pants, belts and caps styled with low rise pants. Leopard print met washed metallics paired with loose zip-up hoodies invoking a teenage rebellious spirit. Over-the-top layering brought edginess to the runway and distressed denims took us  back to high school memories. Golden accessories brought a layer of detailing enhancing the model’s allure and elevated the outfits.
