Spanish actress Nicole Wallace is best known for her roles in ‘Skam España’ and Prime Video’s original film ‘My Fault’, based on the bestselling Wattpad novel series by Mercedes Ron, where she will reprise her role in the upcoming two sequels, ‘Your Fault’ and ‘Our Fault’. Next up, Nicole will also star in the series ‘Ni una más’.

Nicole, soon we’ll be seeing you in ‘Ni una más’. Tell us more about the story of this series and about your character.
This series tells the story of Alma, a 17-year old who is going through her last year of high school. It’s a series that englobes a couple stories of abuse, told through Alma. Some are hers some are not. The series starts with her in her school with a big banner that says: Be careful, there is a rapist inside. 

Why is the message of this story such an important and impactful one?
Because it’s universal. I think everyone can relate to someone in the show or even more than one character. It’s a realistic and hard show, it doesn’t romanticise toxic relationships or mental health. It tells the story of what every woman goes through. 

What was the most challenging part of filming this project?
Probably trying to make Alma and the whole project as honest as possible. Alma is 17, she’s a teenager. Trying to make her realistic and relatable, but finding a way for people to like her enough to go through her whole story was a challenge. 

Being the main character for 4 months of shooting every day with such a intense storyline and always keeping the character alive was also very hard. 

Fans know you best from your role in Prime’s ‘My Fault’. How has this film changed your life and career?
I would say it has changed my career the most. It has opened many doors and given me opportunities. 

Soon, we’ll be able to see you reprise your role in two sequels, ‘Your Fault’ and ‘Our Fault’. What can we expect from these two upcoming films?
More drama, more action and more love.

What is your absolute favourite thing about this trilogy?
Being able to create a character for so long and find her arch through time. 

Growing up, you practiced dance. How does dancing make you feel?
It’s my favourite way to move my body. I feel free and connected when I’m dancing. I wish I had more time to dance. 

How did your interest and passion for acting develop, from being very passionate about dance and music?
My sister did acting classes and I started to do auditions when I was very young. I always liked acting, but never thought that it could come faster than dancing. 

Having also released your music, what are your plans for your music career in the future?
For right now, trying to maybe do some music related to a movie or show. And wherever life takes me, maybe come back to releasing music. 

Besides ‘Ni una más’ and ‘My Fault’ sequels, what other projects do you have coming up this year?
I can’t say anything right now sadly, but ! I will be working on very cool projects this year and the next.
