Embarking on a bold evolution, Mugler’s Fall Winter 2024 collection, Part 01, unveils silhouettes captivating the exploration of sensuality, power and rebellion.

A dark glamour descends upon the Mugler fall winter 2024 collection, part 01 designed by creative director Casey Cadwallader — acknowledging the sculptural heritage of the house through a new, audacious filter. Textural expressions reflect our dystopian reality, exploring games of power and the metamorphosis of the human experience in times of resistance and rebellion.

The thrill of pleasure and the sensuality of skin are imbued in a silhouette that slices in arcs around the body creating strong volumes that reveal and conceal in equal measure. Doused in vampiric red, blackest black and accents of khaki, the season’s glossy, fringed and moiré textures are a potent foil for plunging necklines and open backs, pointy collars and the bombé armour of rubber (not patent) outerwear. Pierced, slitted, buckled, and oiled: ready-to-wear and accessories marry anatomical gestures of man and machine. The line is punctuated with metallic hardware, transparency, and opulent fabrications, from shiny satin to welded rubber, velvet, waxed denim, laser-cut leather fringe and oval cabochon-studded jersey.

Mugler fall winter 2024 collection, part 01 introduces Cadwallader’s first formal menswear proposition, applying the house tailoring prowess to powerful shapes in elegant, monochrome finishes. Sweeping broad-shouldered coats feature curved and bisected lapels; pleated tuxedo trousers are worn high with an integrated asymmetric cummerbund, and stripe-quilted jackets balance soigné fabrications with the technical detailing of hiking trousers and two-tone engineered shorts.

Expanding the bold vocabulary of the Mugler accessories collection, the season sees the spiral curve 01 and smaller spiral curve 02 handbags evolve in black-on-black fabrications, from embossed crocodile and gunmetal to stone-washed denim, whilst the curved and trapezoidal zenith shoulder bag appears in embossed textures echoing the dimmest black and deep red tones of the collection. On foot, fierce pumps are pierced at the toe, and patent or corseted leather boots are framed by chromed fanged heels.
