When Elliot was studying songwriting at Leeds College of Music in England he began writing music for his alter ego Elliot Boyd. In 2022, he released his debut single ‘floating’ along with a video that he choreographed himself. Following this, he performed on the main stage of Bevrijdingspop Haarlem in front of an audience of 20,000 people.

Currently, he is participating in the Popronde, the largest traveling music festival in the Netherlands. His new single ‘Dry land’ will be released on the 10th of November.

The remaining tracks from his debut EP ‘Artificial Bliss’ will be released in the spring of 2023.

Elliot wrote ‘Dry Land’ after the loss of a loved one who passed away at a very young age. It made him realize how fragile life is. ‘Dry Land’ is a vulnerable pop song about grief, loss, and sorrow. However, this memory also gives him the strength to move forward and pursue his own dreams.

‘Dry land’ has a sound that blends elements from artists such as James Blake, Perfume Genius, and Thomas Azier. While Elliot’s music typically leans towards an electronic sound, for this particular song, he wrote musical parts for a cellist, violinist, and pianist to add a cinematic character to the song.
