A sunny afternoon in the French capital saw the revelation of the Drôle de Monsieur Spring/Summer 2025 collection. Fashion duo Maxime Schwab and Dany Dos Santos referenced iconic photographer Slim Aarons renowned for his documentation of wealthy country-club culture in the 1960’s. Channeling icons who transformed this peculiar world, from Sean Connery to Jay-Z passing by Tiger Woods, the blending of codes and inspirations created a masterful “mix-and-no-match” effect.

Inspired by golf leisure wear, the Drôle de Monsieur spirit evokes a sporty energy in the form of sleeveless puffer jackets and jersey shorts. Thoughtful layering created the perfect Drôle uniform, where suede Sahara jackets met nineties print ties and denims. Tracksuits jackets paired with beige jorts and boatshoes reminiscent of the Sopranos rooted the collection in its gangster chic aesthetic.

The braid motif took the center stage, spotted on a tracksuit jacket and as a leather accessory. With a unique vision on fashion’s history, Drôle de Monsieur continues its exploration of the dialog between elegant opulence and urban counter-cultures.
