NEOPOP Festival is finally ready to unveil the full Line-up, And We love it!
Chris Liebing b2b Luke Slater, Enrico Sangiuliano, FJAAK Live A/V, Joseph Capriati, Klangkuenstler, and Reinier Zonneveld Live are some of the names rounding off the lineup for NEOPOP Festival 2024.
NEOPOP FESTIVAL, which takes place on the 8th-10th of August at Forte de Santiago da Barra in Viana do Castelo, is a must-go this year!

An out-of-body experience, inspired by video games, which combines electronic music, melodic elements, and glitchy textures in a reality that is both immersive and daring.
By reimagining the idea of a playground from the future, this gaming landscape transforms into a labyrinth of discovery, open for exploration by the entire rave community.

Thursday 8th August
Kicking off the first day of the festival with the leading artist like Joseph Capriati will be setting the scale for the biggest celebrations of dance music in Portugal. Joseph Capriati has become so much more than being the global representation for the Neapolitan techno and house scene. He combines a relentless work ethic with a keen ear for the perfect groove and unparalleled charisma.

But the Italian star won’t have to carry the party alone. The lineup for the day includes Enrico Sangiuliano, who, although a compatriot of Capriati, offers new sonic narratives with which to tell the story of techno.

Additionally, we will have the chance to dance to the house tunes of Jennifer Cardini. Her house remixes such as “Surrender” and “Sentiment Acide” sometimes blend some gothic sounds, but always in such a seductive and canonized way that those mixes will forever be anthems on the dance floors from Berlin to Ibiza.

On faster tempos, NEOPOP Festival will feature a b2b performance between BIIA and Victoria, a pair known for their seductive crossroads. They will present us with the intensity for which they’ve become so well-known within the techno community.

In live act format, we will be able to see Reinier Zonneveld, an artist whose care for contemporary techno has stood out over the past few years, with a series of electrifying performances.

Finally, to wind down, the first day of NEOPOP Festival will also include names such as Ivan Smaghe, and Ogazón b2b Ryan Elliot, artists known for their pursuit of groove and pure pleasure on the dance floor. Some other names for the day include Indira Paganotto, KETTAMA, Nico Moreno, DJ Lynce b2b Violet, and Frank Maurel.

Friday 9th August
After seeing the program for the first day, it is hard to imagine that the second day could in any way keep up with it. But the second day of the Festival features one of the most eagerly anticipated moments on the bill. two pioneers of the techno scene who have consistently innovated throughout the years, join forces for one of their rare b2b performances: Chris Liebing and Luke Slater! – Expectations couldn’t be any higher.

While that is on the schedule, Klangkuenstler makes his absolute debut at NEOPOP Festival. The Berlin-based producer revives the early 2000s and gives it a modern twist whilst combining it with industrial techno and a hellish atmosphere. An intense live presentation we all crave to experience.

Freddy K has remained tirelessly active, playing musical marathons which often exceed 8 hours, where his deviant selections are complemented by a 360º overview of techno music. A long-awaited return to NEOPOP.

One of the biggest highlights of NEOPOP, KiNK is also making a return to the Festival with his acclaimed live act. He’ll be renewing his commitment to a stage where he demonstrated the raw power of funk within house and techno.These are some of the most anticipated acts of the second day of the Festival and will be joining other artists  such as Dax J, Héctor Oaks, Jeff Mills, MOCHAKK, Rui Vargas, X CLUB., amongst others.

Saturday 10th August
For the final day, NEOPOP has reserved the performance of German duo FJAAK, an anticipated performance ahead of the release of their new LIVE A/V show based on the album “FJAAK THE SYSTEM” next May. From UK breakbeat to techno, from 2-step to D’n’B, this is an album where genre boundaries dissipate and only groove remains, and its adaptation to the electronic stage one of the most eagerly-awaited of this year’s edition.

A further highlight is the performance by the Iberian duo Lewis Fautzi and Oscar Mulero, an explosive b2b combination that will traverse the sinuous roads of techno.

Saturday will also mark the debut of Dutch artists Mary Lake and KI/KI and both will be performing in a rare Live Act format. Expect a journey of exploration through the various facets of dance music.

IMOGEN, Interstellar Funk b2b Priori, and James Ruskin are other highlights of the day and will be joining acts such as Amelie Lens, Richie Hawtin, and Sama’ Abdulhadi, performances that we just don’t want to miss!
