The art world is going through changes! Rabanne, partnering with Art Basel created Rabanne Art Factory, a platform dedicated to the promotion of digital art around the globe. With the help of Dazed Media, an entry call has been made in January 2024 to gather the most avant-garde and promising art students in numerous cities. For the occasion, the Rabanna Arts Factory jury held a meeting on Wednesday 12th June at the Art Basel fair in Basel to discuss the importance of supporting this new generation of artists.

Rabanne always had at heart to be the actor of change for a brighter future. The idea behind Rabanne Arts Factory was to initiate progress and create opportunities for brilliant creatives. With a 5 star jury panel : Julien Dossena, Artistic Director of the House, alongside Jefferson Hack, founder of Dazed Media; Venus Lau, curator and writer; and Claude Adjil, curator. Bridget Finn, Director of Art Basel Miami Beach, will also be involved in the contest by mentoring the participants. 6 winners have been selected for the first round, all coming from the most prestigious art schools of the planet (Central Saint Martins in London, Ecole Duperré in Paris and Instituto Marangoni in Florence).

The panel discussion titled “The Rabanna Arts Factory: Opening spaces for New Imagery” moderated by Clément Delépine, director of Art Basel Paris will be led by Julien Dossena and Jefferson Hack. It will delve deeply into the importance of this new generation of digital artists and The Rabanne Arts Factory implication in their artistic development.

The winner will be revealed in fall and have the opportunity to exhibit their work at the Art Basel fair in Miami Beach (December 6th and 8th). They will also benefit from mentoring and support from Rabanne executives at different stages of their creative career.
